Larisa Levin, MPT
Owner/Physical Therapist
Larisa “Lora” Levin has over 25 years of experience in physical therapy. She is licensed in the State of Pennsylvania and is an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association. Levin holds a master’s degree in physical therapy from Temple University College of Allied Health Professions and completed her undergraduate work at Temple University College of Arts and Sciences, where she graduated magna cum laude, earning a bachelor’s degree in biological anthropology.
Lora completed her clinical work at Moss Rehab Outpatient Center, Philadelphia Geriatric Center, and Temple University Sports & Orthopedic Physical Therapy Center, where she conducted research on the movement patterns used by healthy older adults.
Lora spent five years managing the physical therapy department and working as a Staff Physical Therapist at Health Smart Medical Center in Philadelphia. In March of 2014, Levin assumed ownership of the physical therapy practice at Health Smart Medical Center and began operations as Absolute Therapy Care, LLC.
Prior to Health Smart Medical Center, Lora gained eleven years of experience as a Staff Physical Therapist at Orthopaedic Surgery & Rehabilitation Associates, Infinity of Care, and Moss Rehab Outpatient Center, where she provided care for patients with acute and chronic musculoskeletal dysfunctions, neurological dysfunctions and orthopedic postoperative requirements. Lora also developed, modified and taught therapeutic exercise programs to increase patient’s general conditioning and functional independence.
Lora is fluent in English and Russian. She moved to the United States in 1989 with her parents, worked her way through college and is the proud mother of two wonderful daughters. Levin continues to work directly with patients and remains active in all aspects of the practice.
Larisa has completed advanced coursework in Maitland manual techniques for the spine and peripheral joints along with many other manual therapy courses. She had also taken a course in Vestibular Rehabilitation and a variety of classes in orthopedic and geriatric rehabilitation.
In her spare time, Larisa enjoys dancing and traveling to new destinations with her family.
Nataliya Pona, PTA
Physical Therapist Assistant
Nataliya is licensed in the State of Pennsylvania as a Physical Therapist Assistant with Indirect Supervision License that she has earned while working at Absolute Therapy Care since February of 2021.
She holds an Associate of Applied Science degree from Harcum College, class of 2020.
Nataliya completed her clinical work at Dynamic Rehabilitation Services, NovaCare Rehabilitation, and Caring Heart Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, where she provided care for patients with acute and chronic musculoskeletal dysfunctions, neurologic dysfunctions and orthopedic postoperative cases. Nataliya also performed manual therapy techniques, developed and modified therapeutic exercises programs for patients to maintain and improve their overall function and promote functional independence.
Nataliya is fluent in English, Russian, and Ukrainian languages. She was born and grew up in Ukraine where she earned associate degree in law/legal studies before moving to the United States in 2006.
In her free time, Nataliya loves reading, traveling and just spending time with her husband, daughter and extended family. She also takes continuous education courses to stay on top of newest research and techniques in outpatient physical therapy rehabilitation.
